The Soccer Sofa’s Acca Tips 28/1/17

It’s the FA Cup fourth round weekend, and there is bound to be an upset or two. The oldest club competition in football is known for being impossible to predict, however, here at The Soccer Sofa, we’ve given it our best shot. Here are our picks for this weekend:

Tottenham Hotspur vs Wycombe Wanderers – Tottenham Win @ 1/8
As we said, we know the FA Cup throws a few surprises at us, but we can’t see it in this match. Spurs are big favourites in this one, and are on a good run of form – six wins from their last seven in the Premier League is impressive. Wycombe are also in good form however, boasting a 12 game unbeaten run, but we think Spurs will be too much for them today.

Aldershot Town vs York City – Aldershot Win @ 17/20
Aldershot have only lost one of their last six matches, and their home record in the league is pretty impressive too – 10 wins from 14 at the Recreation Ground. York’s away form is shaky to say the least, with their defence conceding at least one goal in 93% of their matches away from home this season.

Southampton vs Arsenal – BTTS and Arsenal Win @ 3/1
Arsenal travel to St Mary’s stadium for the late kick off today. The Saints have only managed to keep one clean sheet in their last six matches, and Arsenal have only kept a clean sheet once in their last seven away games. Both teams are good going forward, Southampton have netted in their last five at home, but we’re backing Arsenal in this one – scoring 11 in their last four.

Fleetwood Town vs Southend United – Draw @ 23/10
Fleetwood go into this one on a winning streak of five matches in the league. With an average of 2.21 points at home this season, home advantage could play a part in this one. Southend have also been impressive recently, also unbeaten in their last five with three wins and two draws.

A tenner would see a return of £274.73 with Sky Bet.
