The Soccer Sofa’s Acca Tips 21/1/17

Time to get the acca’s in – but we’ve saved you some time. Take a look at our picks for this weekends action.

Rochdale vs Oxford – Rochdale Win @ 1/1
Rochdale are 5th in the Sky Bet League One at the moment, and we fully expect them to bounce back after the 2-1 loss to Southend United last weekend. They have won an impressive 10 out of 13 matches at home in this campaign and we expect them to further that today. Credit to Oxford however, their form away from home is far from shabby but those away wins have come from some of those lesser sides in the division.

AFC Bournemouth vs Watford – BTTS Yes @ 8/11
Bournemouth have conceded 37 goals this season in 21 games with Watford only conceding one goal fewer. Both sides have looked less than comfortable at the back over the last few weeks. In terms of going forward, Bournemouth have scored seven in their last three matches. It’s also worth noting that the last time these two sides met they shared four goals in a 2-2 draw.

Aston Villa vs Preston – Under 2.5 Goals @ 8/13
It’s been a rough few weeks for Villa, losing all of their last three fixtures without putting the ball in the net once – with Steve Bruce’s side only scoring 26 all season, it’s fair to say they’re not a very high scoring side. Preston, on the other hand, have had two of their last three away games have under 2.5 goals, so this one is definitely worth a punt.

Nottingham Forest vs Bristol City – Notts F Win @ 6/4
Phillipe Montanier finally saw the sack from the Forest job last week, so with Gary Brazil taking charge today, expect a Forest team raring to change their fate. Bristol City are on a very bad run of form at the moment, losing nine of their last ten games.

A tenner bet on this one would see a return of £139.51 with SkyBet.
