Sunday – Liverpool v West Ham Sky Sports 1 16:30
After last week’s collapse against Bournemouth, Liverpool will be looking to bounce back with a win and should feel confident against a struggling West Ham.
Joe Cole said on The Premier League Show that Jurgen Klopp has an aura about him and seems to be able to brush embarrassments such as last week under the carpet. The emergence of Divock Origi has given his striking options a boost, however. He seems like much more of a Klopp style player than Sturridge, who seems to be unable to shoot without doing 15 stepovers first.
Adam Lallana should be match fit by now and will slot perfectly into the team as a number 10 behind Origi, with Firmino and Mané either side. Any team would struggle to cope with the number of attacking threats Liverpool have, let alone a team with the second leakiest defence in West Ham, who have shipped 29 goals so far.
Slaven Bilic is under pressure after a thrashing at home by Arsenal last week. Winston Reid, usually a rock at the back, looked like he’d been drinking during the warm-up. Perhaps it was just Sanchez’ dazzling feet. Read more about why West Ham’s season has been so limp HERE.
Liverpool will bounce back this week. A drubbing would not be a surprise. 5-1 Liverpool.
